I had the pleasure of joining some of the boys over at TRUE NORTH ANGLER this past weekend as we journeyed into the Temagami area. We first started on Net Lake. The average depth ranged from 10 to 40 feet. We were told deeper locations did exist in the lake but we couldn’t find a single one. The lake is popular for walleye, northern pike, trout, smallmouth bass, whitefish and panfish.
We spent the morning drilling holes and graphing the depths. I was fishing a few hours without any luck, a few fish were marked but nothing was caught. Overall a great experience for us here at Back Lake Fishing. We will be adding the locations for the lake here on the site as we do all lakes we fish.
After spending the morning on Net Lake we decided to head on over to Lake Temagami. This lake is much larger with depth locations over 750 feet. We spent the day fishing in the ranges of 50 to 70 feet. The lake has fish species such as Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Whitefish and Perch.
